A version of the classic using Walking Liberty halves and Copper Liberty coins. We made a small run of these in the Martinka shop and they really turned out gorgeous. The Copper Liberty coins provide a nice contrast to the silver Walking Libertys.
The effect is that a Walking Liberty half and a large copper coin are shown in the hand. The copper coin is removed and placed in your pocket, but magically returns. Next the silver coin is removed and that too magically returns, lastly the copper coin is removed and when the hand is opened instead of the silver coin, there is nothing!
This is a five piece set, it includes the three coin gimmick (made from three coppers and one silver), an ungimmiocked Walking Liberty coin and a Walking Liberty matching expanded shell. The copper coins were minted by Golden Mint -from one half ounce of pure copper.
These coins can also be used for sun and moon effects where a copper coin and a silver coin visually change places. There are many routines in print.
